Bug#935626: Any progress to adopt numba (Was: RFA: numba -- native machine code compiler)
Hi Diane,
currently python3-numba is not installable since it Depends
python3-llvmlite (< 0.34) but only 0.34.0-1 is available. I guess this
is connected to the python3-llvmlite transition. However, I'm wondering
how your intend to adopt this package is progressing. IMHO it would be
sensible to transfer the Git repository (since you wanted to move it to
the Python Modules team - I personally would not mind where the package
is maintained as long as it is actually done) and start working on it
possibly with the new upstream version.
What do you think?
