Bug#847613: ITP: nextcloud-client -- desktop client for nextcloud

sorry I havn't seen, that you already took the task of packaging nextcloud-
desktop for Debian. I started already to copy the work done at owncloud-client
to nextcloud-desktop and also got something, that is quite ready for usage.
I published my work at salsa:
maybe we can join our forces to get a working package ready soon.
It's been over 6 months since the last positive message from Lev that he
intended to work on this. The repository is still empty, and the freeze
for our next stable release is getting uncomfortably close.
IMHO, 6 months is long enough that it would be reasonable for you to
take over this ITP, if you are still interested in packaging the
nextcloud client yourself/yourselves (as part of the owncloud-team). In
fact, I will do the first next thing now, and remove the owner
annotation for this bug, requesting forgiveness if Lev still intends to
work on this, rather than permission.
I think this is the only course of action likely to result in
nextcloud-client making it into the next stable Debian release.
I will attempt to test your existing packaging if that would be helpful.
