FWIW, I started having the exact same issue with the slop package when
they switched to a library for their backend. I also don't understand
why makeshlibs doesn't pick this up automatically, but i suspect it may
be because my binary package isn't split along lib/non-lib lines.

It's kind of silly, if you ask me, to do that split for slop, but maybe
it makes sense here.

I'd be curious to hear how/if you fix this.
