Bug#819392: ITP: geg -- GTK+ Equation Grapher

Hello Adreas,

thank you for reminding me about team maintenance.

My last tries were not successful, due to miscellaneous reasons, maybe
we can sort out some of them now?

- lack of permission (this sound sensible as I did not step forward
  previously):
  -----------8<------------------------
  georgesk@moszumanska:/git/debian-science$ ./setup-repository geg
mkdir: impossible de créer le répertoire « geg.git »: Permission denied
  -----------8<------------------------
same thing when I clone a repository like
moszumanska:/git/python-modules/packages/sympy.git, I can do it, but
  cannot push files later.

- another issue, when I try to subscribe to the mailing list.
Yesterday night, I went to https://lists.debian.org/debian-science/
and tried to subscribe this e-mal address: georgesk@debian.org
Here is the feedback of the subscription automaton:
  -----------8<---------------------------
  Subscription request processed
Mail has been sent subscribing georgesk@debian.org to the following
  mailing lists:

      debian-science@lists.debian.org
  -----------8<---------------------------
A few minutes later, I got a message with subject:
  "Subject: CONFIRM s1603281838458472" from SmartList
  <debian-science-request@lists.debian.org>, and replied with Mutt,
without my usual signature (as previous tries have failed, I suppose
that it may be due to a complicated structure of my reply).
However, a few hours later, I get no confirmation of subscription.

Should I contact the listmaster about it?

Best regards, Georges.
