This looks good, thanks.
For the patches I suggest to add a few more headers (DEP3),
especially the URLs of the upstream bugs.

Right, that's the problem.
TBH, I'm a bit ambivalent -- what do others think?

Yup.

The latter can be done with sth. like
    git remote set-url origin $NEWURL
if I remember correctly.

One missing piece is to change the name in the .mrconfig in meta.git


And, tataa, before sending I remembered that we have a script on
Alioth for this:
    rename-repository in /git/pkg-perl
(symlink to /home/groups/pkg-perl/meta/rename-repository)
which actually does one more step :)
