As the title states, the maintainer of pyelliptic has agreed to change to add OpenSSL exception to the library. He hasn't done it yet, but he's confirmed that he will. After that, all that's necessary is to convince PyBitmessage to incorporate the well-licensed library! (Confirmation can be seen here: https://github.com/yann2192/pyelliptic/pull/14 )
