Yes, my understanding from Paul was also that he wanted to put the Docker dependency packages under the new Docker project on Alioth (and thus in docker/...). If pkg-golang is preferred, I'd like to make sure we know so we don't push future packages we might need there and have to move them later. :)
Many thanks to both of you for getting on this - it's a blocker for us to package Docker 0.7.2+, and I'm really excited that we're so close to being up-to-date with upstream!
