The fact that Debian release is far away means it is acceptable to have 
RC bugs hanging unfixed, rather than that it is acceptable to allow 
broken code trickle into testing.

Testing is meant for testing interoperability across packages - *not* 
for testing individual packages - that's what experimental is for!
