I have been considering these options.
I was not sure about this in the begining either.

Yet I think it adds value if this package is available in debian and we are far
from the release. The user can see the warning verbatim from the upstream
author so can make a conscious decision to use this module (or not).

Feel free to tell me if you think otherwise.
I would let it migrate to testing, but my decision is not final.
