Ah, it helps a lot, thanks. Reading it, I think I know where I went wrong.
A few questions: x86 microcode really is useful only for arch i386 and
amd64. Should I leave it as arch all? I am not sure firmware-nonfree is
prepared to have arch-specific packages, but...
I may also need to add a Depends: to the control file template, but it looks
straightforward to do that.
