OK, so I've rebased and tweaked Arthur's tree and pushed it over http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-php/php-file-iterator.git (preserving old contents in -old branches).
It should be OK for git-buildpackage execution now.
Regarding the ownership of the ITP, it doesn't matter so much I suppose. Also, the control file of the package will probably have to be adjusted so as to correspond to collaborative maintenance.
But first a collaborative review is what we need, I guess ;)
