I've talked to Arthur on IRC and he gave me the URL of his git repo containing the packaging he made for php-file-iterator (in a subdir of https://github.com/baloo/pkg-php-phpunit).

I noticed that Luis has started http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-php/php-file-iterator.git;a=summary (but so far, without debian/ package sources).

I think that for this package, as upstream publishes his own git tree (https://github.com/sebastianbergmann/php-file-iterator/) it would be best to use git-buildpackage to track upstream's branch directly.

So I've modified Arthur's tree to integrate the upstream branch, so that git-buildpackage is fine (including some deletions, some moves, some package name change and likes ;).

The result is at : http://git.debian.org/?p=users/olberger-guest/php-file-iterator.git

May I suggest to "erase" what luis has pushed into pkg-php to replace it with mine, if that seems fine for you too.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,
