Hi

Due to lack of time maintaining this package (udav) I request an
adopter for it. I missed to take well care of udav (and as a strict
dependency first the currently orphaned mathgl package). It needs more
care as I currently can give to both, as my main interest ist still
focused on other packages in Debian, in the Debian Perl Group.

It would be best, if someone with more interest in it could maintain
it and get back mathgl and udav in a up to date shape for squeeze
release (They are both in 'good' shape, but not up to date!
udav 0.5.2 < 0.6.3
mathgl 1.9 < 1.10.2.1).

Upstream (Alexey Balakin) is really interested in getting udav and
mathgl into Debian and Ubuntu and helped often really fast on request
from my side (specially I can say that from udav point of view).

It would be great if someone could take care of udav (but needs too
to adopt mathgl as they are closely related).

I would also suggest to maintain both under the umbrella of the Debian
Science team, thus I'm Cc-ing that list. D. Haley worked too already
on mathgl a bit to get it into the debian-science repository and
Manuel Prinz announced that he would sponsor the mathgl package if
there is somone to work on it (I'm Cc'ing both too directly).

Bests
Salvatore
