hi Daniel, I've already sent the package and it was rejected, because of several copyright related problems (with no claim of completeness): * One can't simply include LGPL code and distribute the result under MIT * The BSD license has not many restrictions, but you have to include the original copyright statement, which is not the case here. * It might be interesting what the author means by "Inspired by". Depending on the level of inspiration those sources need to be mentioned in debian/copyright, too I've not contacted upstream yet, but this week I'll work on the package.
