Looking at the patch you send, it should be fairly easy, to make
go{play|learn} behave differently based on a commandline argument / name
of programm invoked.  That might be a working interim solution, but is
IMHO a bit ugly.  So maybe a common library might be an idea for the
future?

I'll try to give it a go tomorrow.
