I was introduced in this discussion by one of the emails. I applied for an
ITA some time ago and I created a deb file.
When I saw that Annibal worked on iproute I contacted him for the
congratulation and I offered the work I did. Anibal offered me to help in
another package. `Quid pro quod`, as ancient latin said.
I personally think that it is unusefull to argue, why don't we work
together to make iproute be currently update.
I am still interested in it, but since I am not a DD (only a NM applier) I
can not upload it. I asked different people (DDs included, Craig Smith,
for instance, my AM) how to solve kernel dependency problem related to iproute.
That is the reason for my delay.
For my huge opinion, we all manage for iproute grow, not arguing for the
ownership.
Cheers
