I just replaced xmltex.tex, fotex.xmt and fotex.sty with the newest
files from passivetex and can create PDF files now (again), so I think
I'll stay with my local installation for now on my main machine.
It might be a good idea to have \xmltraceoff, so passivetex is not to
slow and verbose (I just searched for that...).
