Finding sponsors
Hi all,
I'm looking for sponsors or help to find sponsors for some PHP applications.
I already maintain two debian packages (piwigo : http://packages.qa.debian.org/p/piwigo.html and ploader : http://packages.qa.debian.org/p/ploader.html) and I would like to maintain others ones :
- SimpleTest : a unit testing and web testing framework written in PHP
- Phing : a project build system based on Apache Ant written in PHP.
- SwiftMailer : a PHP library for sending mail
Theses applications are already packaged and can be found on mentors.debian.net :
- URL: http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/p/php-simpletest
- Source repository: deb-src http://mentors.debian.net/debian unstable main contrib non-free
- dget http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/p/php-simpletest/php-simpletest_1.0.1-1.dsc
- URL: http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/p/phing
- Source repository: deb-src http://mentors.debian.net/debian unstable main contrib non-free
- dget http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/p/phing/phing_2.4.1-1.dsc
- URL: http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/l/libphp-swiftmailer
- Source repository: deb-src http://mentors.debian.net/debian unstable main contrib non-free

- Vcs-Browser: http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-symfony/phing.git
3) SwiftMailer
- licence : LGPL
- version : 4.0.6
- project url : http://swiftmailer.org/
The package is maintain on alioth :
- Vcs-Git: git://git.debian.org/git/pkg-symfony/swift.git
- Vcs-Browser: http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-symfony/swift.git
I already posted on mentors mailing list to find sponsors for theses packages but didn't succeed. If anyone is interested I would be glad.
I understood that webapps applications and PHP ones in particular frightened debian developers because of issues comming very often. I'm a PHP developers since 10 years and I knew theses applications because I used them. I follow developement of theses applications.
An another idea to help me but to also help maintainers is to create a PHP module packaging team. Of course if a king of team will be create I will be interested to help it or to be member of it.
Thanks for taking attention to my message,
Best regards,
Nicolas
