You are clearly frustrated by this and other discussions. I know how
difficult that can be to deal with. Something that has worked for me in
the past is to simply stop reading and participating in the threads
which produce such feelings (or possibly all mailing lists if the
temptation to return to the problematic thread is too great). You might
consider doing something similar and perhaps enjoying your weekend.
Mailing list discussion rarely change other people's opinions, but often
do cause anxiety in those who participate in the discussions to an
excessive degree.
