For the record, I also support putting G+D on the ballot, given the
seconds, even if it's technically not allowed by our normal process.

I don't think it's horribly likely that G+D will perform differently than
D, but it seems worth avoiding the perception that something was left off
the ballot that would make a substantitive difference in the vote.

(I'm also mentally drafting a GR to clarify the Standard Resolution
Procedure for some time in the new year, starting with a definition of
terms so that we can be clear on what proposals, resolutions, draft
resolutions, amendments, and proposers actually mean, because all of this
is quite inobvious right now. I'm increasingly of the opinion that the
sensible rule for the constitution is that every *change to the ballot*
should reset the discussion period and we should rely on project members
being sensible and not constantly seconding new options to delay a vote.
I'm not sure expediency wins over letting the discussion settle here. But
we can talk about that later; I realize the significant downside is to
make the GR process even more arduous than it already is.)
