The mail was processed an hour after the vote ended. Surprise,
mail is not a synchronous protocol.

Since the ballot has been delivered to d-d-a thrice in the
voting period, the asking for the ballot by mail option is rarely

The vote has been going on for two weeks. Reminder are sent
weekly, and a special reminder was sent 48 hours ago begging
people not to wait until the eleventh hour. I suppose I should have
asked people not to wait until the tenth hour or thereabout too.

If you think the vote period is too short, then I suppose there
is the option to see if other
people consider it so too, and see if you can redo some of the
constitutional amendment that was passed by acclaim last year.
