Not really sure about what you meant with this, but one shouldn't make
inferences from a name.

No idea. I used clive in the past, but given that youtube-dl was bit-rotting in
the archive and it allowed me to grab the URL of the videos (so that I could use
aria2 to speed up the downloads of lectures that I wanted to keep), I adopted
the package.
clive did not have that feature at that point (or it didn't make it easy to
discover).
But I would still want some guidance regarding how to proceed with volatile. Oh,
and I would appreciate CC'ies.
