two remarks on that:

One is that just "a newer version is available" is not enough to include
it in volatile; in fact, volatile _only_ accepts packages if this is
required to fix an important or above bug. Also, all changes needs to be
related to bug fixing.

The other one is: Only maintainers can request the addition of packages
to volatile. The reason for this is tht we want to make sure that it
works as good as possible.
