That is rather interesting.
Is it known why SPF fails in that case?

There are also lists that rewrite both envelope from and from, so the
original domain isn't present. That fixes the DMARC issues.

I use this mailing list via the mail2news gateway, so they can't add a
DKIM signature to my posts here.

I do DKIM signing on my mail server for outgoing mail.
