However:

$ apt-cache show hyphen-en-gb | grep en-au
Provides: hyphen-en-au, hyphen-en-za, hyphen-hyphenation-patterns,
hyphen-hyphenation-patterns-en-gb

IOW, hyphen-en-au is shipped as part of the hyphen-en-gb package, and
may even be functionally identical to what one would normally expect to
see from that package by its name.
