I know what the resolution of my display is.

It has no resolution oddities, what are you talking about?

I'm running the most recent updated BIOS, which came out earlier this
month.

I don't see any info from inxi that hasn't already been got from other
commands, but OK. From a terminal in Wayland:

I did, as stated in the mail you replied to earlier. Both resulted in
the "unsupported mode" logs.

"videoinfo" is a new one for me. I'll give that a go next time I reboot.

Until I have some idea what modes might be supported it's quite tedious
just guessing. xrandr suggested 1600x1200 so that's why I tried it.
