I upgraded from bookworm to trixie a couple of weeks ago (on an ordinary AMD64 desktop running xfce and lightDM).
After the upgrade it no longer boots into the GUI. I have to login and then run startx. Why? What's the recommended way make it boot into the GUI?
Another annoyance is that after booting and starting the X session, num lock is on. It never used to be. How can this be fixed?
