Copy from Firefox -- drag to highlight text, then:

1.  Press Ctrl+C, or

2.  Right-click and choose Copy.


Paste into Vim:

1.  Middle click, or

2.  Right-click and choose Paste.

Copying from any Xfce window and pasting into Mousepad seems to work 
consistently.


Copying from Firefox, Mousepad, and potentially other Xfce windows into 
Vim does not work consistently.
