[ One other advantage over `break=premount` and friends is that I find
it much easier to remember for some reason. I still need to resort
to things like `break=premount` every once in a while, e.g. when
I need to rename the root LVM volume group. ]

You can always launch `bash` from `/bin/sh` :-)
