Try different USB ports for mouse & keyboard (non v3.x)
Try different mouse & keyboard
Examine ~/.xsession-errors
run journalctl -b -1 for prior boot (if /var/log/journal exists), just -b for
current boot

Provide here some hardware information (from Konsole):

	inxi -ba

Is there plenty freespace on /?
