Need to manually start pulseaudio on reboot

Dear list,

Since upgrading to bookworm I have to manually start pulseaudio at every login 
by executing:

systemctl --user restart pulseaudio.service

I use KDE plasma desktop.
how can I diagnose/solve the problem?
