My error Gnome Web. not GNU Web. I thnk it comes from epiphany package https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/epiphany sudo apt install epiphany-browser epiphany-web-data It shows as 'Web' in the gnome Internet sub-menu -- Jeremy
