If you can use a wired network, you may be able to install firmware if this
is needed to make WiFi work.

What does lspci show? What chipset is your wifi?

Does dmesg show that hardware is detected but firmware might be missing?

Since the rest is Intel, I suggest that you might need to install
firmware-linux-nonfree - to get Intel firmware updates - and iwlwifi.
Both of those are in the non-free software repositories so check that your
/etc/apt/sources.list contains contrib and non-free.

use the wired interface to go and grab those packages and go from there?

All the very best, as ever,

Andy Cater
