I have issues with USB connection between Debian and Android, it
seems to work but in a buggy way...

Not necessarily the solution you're looking for, but in case it serves
you anyway: you can install an (S)FTP server-app in the Android
system and mount it through the LAN (I guess, both smartphone and
laptop using Wi-Fi).

Usually I use `sshfs`.
