No. If I create it, and then run the ikiwiki setup command, I 
get this error:

"fatal: not in a git directory
'git config user.name IkiWiki' failed:"

But my experience with ikiwiki has been that it creates the dirs 
it needs on initial installation of an ikiwiki instance.
