Could yout student just try ssh -v <user@yourserver> (Or whatever "verbose" equivalent there is for his ssh client) and post the results (suitably edited, to hide sensitive information!) here? My hunch is that this student's ssh client picked at some time the wrong host key and is now complaining, but that's only a hunch! Cheers - t
