pastel prinouts on as brother ink jet.
Prompted on another list to run journalctl, I tried it on this machine
running stretch
Fairly early in the boot, I see this:
Jul 22 22:33:41 coyote systemd-udevd[288]: Invalid
rule /etc/udev/rules.d/60-brother-brscan4-libsane-type1.rules:9: unknown
key 'SYSFS{idVendor}'
Jul 22 22:33:41 coyote systemd-udevd[288]: Invalid
rule /etc/udev/rules.d/60-brother-libsane-type1-inst.rules:14: unknown
key 'SYSFS{idVendor}'
Jul 22 22:33:41 coyote systemd-udevd[288]: Invalid
rule /etc/udev/rules.d/60-brother-libsane-type1.rules:17: unknown
key 'SYSFS{idVendor}'
These are brother drivers and includes sane support. Can this error be
fixed with a "do it anyway" file of some sort?
There is a
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1160 May 13 2013 brscan-skey
in the /opt/brother/scanner/ directory.
Cheers, Gene Heskett
