The thousands of well-administered sites probably have a different
story to relate. Most are aware that a user encountering a problem
often lashes out the nearest target without much thought to looking
at his own motes. The claim that purging avahi-daemon removes the
nsswitch.conf file is likely to raise an eyebrow or two at the very
least.
