Alas java .class compiled with java 10 cannot be run by a java 8 VM, so
it is difficult.

I'll keep a copy of java 8 or 10 for those things.

I am surprised of the disapperance of javaws, since many mangement
console use them... And I do not count on hardware (or SOC) vendors to
upgrade them to whatever the new scheme will be.
