This was a good hint. I played around a lot but the only thing I need to 
do is to use an older kernel.

I read in one of the articles that this should be solved at 4.13 and I 
installed such a kernel from the experimental release but it didn't 
change anything.

So for right now I can live with that. Though I don't like to run a 
kernel with some known security issues. And I hope it will get solved in 
the, hopefully, near future.

The other option would be to patch the kernel and to compile it myself ...
