I am behind a NAT router, with that port forwarded to this machine.
And while I am getting my internet address from dhcp asking my provider,
I found that if you clone the original routers MAC into the replacement,
my namecheap registered address is a fixed address, so I don't have to
putz with or pay for that service at namecheap. Whats not to like, it
Just Works(TM).
What amazed me was that google found me at that oddball port numnber,
less than 4 hours after I went live with it at least 5 years ago.
