That's very interesting, all that seems to be missing is the huge 14mb or
so tar that has the right file to rip. The way I understand it, the
firmware-b43-installer snags it from http://www.lwfinger.com/b43-firmware
and untars it, then calls the b43-fwcutter as some kind of post-inst
script? It leaves little or no trace of itself after installation,
only some docs and a lintian.
Oddly enough, there's a tiny 500K tar with some firmware in the same
place, might be an old ver?

Anyway, there are two problems, how to get the firmware extracted, and how
to get the installer to use it.
