	I also added to that
#ls /dev/sdc

	Here are the results.

fdisk: cannot open /dev/sdc: No medium found
dd: failed to open â??/dev/sdcâ??: No medium found
fdisk: cannot open /dev/sdc: No medium found
root@audio2:/home/martin# ls /dev/sdc
/dev/sdc

It's there but it doesn't do anything else but show up as a
storage device with no medium.
