thank you. :) i read through the bug reports for
reportbug and didn't see anything that looked like
what i was hitting.
now with installed missing package reportbug crashes with:
TypeError: Couldn't find foreign struct converter for 'cairo.Context'
missing some other piece...
upgraded to unstable version of reportbug. worked.
