I wish _generic_ handling.In this use case I _generic_ means "any USB flash device with FAT file system". E.G. when I pick up a flash drive that has information written by my Windows machine I have *NO* a priori knowledge of "LABEL, UUID, or designation in the /dev/sdX hierarchy."
