Hung version upgrade from wheezy to jessie

I am in the process of upgrading a desktop form Wheezy to Jessie.  So
far it has gone fine, but it is hung here:

Restarting services possibly affected by the upgrade:
  openbsd-inetd: restarting...done.
  exim4: restarting...done.
  cups: restarting...

What do I do now?
