I am running Debian off of a USB 2.0 disk connected via hub to a laptop.
There's no other way for me unfortunately. Disk is USB Buffalo
MiniStation 500G, my laptop is an hp Core2 Duo, the USB hub is a 4-port
self-powered 2.0 device, etc. Might be... I'll try to reproduce at some
point. But my attention is somewhere else at the moment...
