greeter fails to execute command upstart
As a result of the above error, when I arrive at my greeter panel, the
keyboard and mouse are unresponsive, and the system is locked up. I can
get in using recovery mode login to text only.

p/s I'm reading my Debian logs via Ubuntu installed on another drive.
