OK. Let me re-state to see whether I understood you correctly:
- first you installed Debian Jessie, with XFCE desktop.
Sound works fine after this step.
- Then you installed all those applications you name above
and after that, sound stops working.
Is that right?
Now a couple of questions:
- How do you check that sound is "working"? Have you double-
checked that the output is not muted? That the output volume
is not at zero?
- Those applications: you installed them from the Debian
repo? Or by another means? If so, how?
- Can you try to install those things one by one and find
out whether sound stops working after one specific installation?
(try to be consistent in what you do, i.e. either "reboot
after each installation" or "never reboot". Pick a process and
stick to it each time).
