Can I deactivate probing for usb sound? Can you deactivate the sound functionality in your keyboard? Maybe there is a hardware switch for this. You could try blacklisting "snd-usb-audio" via $ echo "blacklist snd-usb-audio" > /etc/modprobe.d/no-usb-audio.conf Maybe that helps (you might need to rebuild your initramfs as well) -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
